Vinegar and Baking Soda; Are You Cleaning Wrong?

Vinegar and Baking Soda; great for cleaning and safe to use!  But are you using it incorrectly?
While reading a sample of a very popular cleaning book I came across their all-purpose cleaner recipe.  It contained vinegar and baking soda, in one bottle.... meant to be used later.  I had to put it down immediately!
Vinegar is an acid, baking soda is a base, after the reaction when they are combined they have zero cleaning use!  You are cleaning with salty water.  Clean with them separately, or briefly from the combination.

Also, never combine other cleaners.  Vinegar is natural and safe on its own and with baking soda, but with bleach it creates chlorine gas.  Just don't do it, don't combine them!  Okay thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.. Happy Cleaning!
