How to Clean Window Tracks
It's a tedious job that is often overlooked, I'm here to make it easier! You will need:
Butter knife
Cloth
Toothbrush
Tiny detail brush(straw cleaning brush)
First go in with the toothbrush and tiny brush dry! You will push up so much dirt doing this and then you can just vacuum it up. I learned this tip from Clean My Space, the book by Melissa Maker. After that I would let a cleaner soak. Could be vinegar or all purpose cleaner. After time has passed give it a wipe with a cloth, if your sills are bad though you'll need to use a butter knife with your cloth wrapped around it. The knife will really push up anymore hardened dirt, it's amazing and satisfying! After that they should be pretty much clean, if they are bad like mine were then you'll need to do it again. Happy Cleaning!
