Sink Drains and Yellow Rings
Currently feeling a bit sour, my shoe caught onto my upholstered chair and I ripped my chair! Well, we got our table set for free so I guess it's not too big of a loss. The chair still works just fine!
ANYWAYS, as you know we have recently moved! The place was pretty clean already and I have been impressed, you know me though, I have to leave my mark! Or, the lack thereof since I want things spotless. (A very lofty goal when you have a baby and a husband, it only will get harder as my family grows.) Now, my favorite thing to clean is the toilet, weird I know. But on top of that I just love a gleaming bathroom! I deep clean my bathroom (not really deep cleaning when it is already clean) about once a week. This ensures virtually no hard water build up or scum of any kind. I love when things are shining and clean. When we moved here and I noticed the yellow ring, I knew it would not last long. A regular cleaning with bleach does not take care of this sort of thing, and I think some people are perfectly fine to live with it.
I was not.
I plugged the drain and soaked it overnight with clr, you could also use hydrogen peroxide or even vinegar. Then I took a needle and scraped around the drain until it all came up! I have attached a picture below so you can see just how much gunk was there! Now, I have a perfectly clean drain! That's all I have for today, happy cleaning!
