How I Clean My Shower and Tub

I like to think I'm not half bad at cleaning, so I've decided to share how I clean my shower!  Honestly keeping things clean and shining in general is just putting in the work throughout the week and scrubbing really hard, but I do have a few tricks!

Introducing what the internet has so lovingly named, the miracle shower cleaner.  It's equal parts hot vinegar and Dawn dish soap!  Easy and cheap, it works just as well in the shower for me than other cleaners you buy at the store.  Doesn't even leave a residue like some others I've noticed.

So I sometimes start by cleaning my grout with toilet bowl cleaner and a brush, just when I notice it needs done.  Then I will rinse and scrub and squeegee that away, since I don't want to risk mixing it with other cleaners.  Then I will spray my shower walls with the miracle shower cleaner and my tub.  I will then make a paste with Ajax in the tub with the miracle shower cleaner, using as much of the vinegar dish soap mixture as needed.  Then I let it sit for twenty minutes!  Then like before I rinse and scrub and squeegee!  Don't forget your shower ceiling also!  You can definitely stop there, but to really make your chrome shine you can clean it with CLR and then use a microfiber cloth to dry.  Things will be kept in tip top shape and no hard water will build up if you do this once a week!  Happy cleaning!
