Grove Collaborative; First Impressions
During my time feeding the baby, pumping, and working in the snuggles, I watch a ton of cleaning videos. Like, nobody should enjoy watching cleaning for this many hours a day, and then go on to clean for hours themselves. But here I am! With a cleaning blog and all! It is no wonder I heard about Grove Collaborative EVERYWHERE! I had looked on their website and dreamed of the day when I too would get myself Grove, it was just about taking the first plunge.
Cleaning vloggers and bloggers often pair up with Grove in their influencer program, and the influencer will get to choose a starting pack for you, all for free, as long as you make a minimum purchase of twenty dollars! I got a pretty great deal, with forty-three dollars worth of free things! In that I got a bubble up dish brush, Mrs. Meyer's mint multi-purpose cleaner, dish soap, and hand soap. I also got a glass bottle and floor cleaner concentrate and their famous walnut scrubber sponges! At least they were famous to me! I also got 60 days free of VIP, which I think is well worth it if you plan to get four or more boxes from Grove a year. Which, I can't stop looking forward to my next box in a month!
Now, I do have some criticisms, surprisingly. I love the convenience and the luxury feeling of it all, but you do pay extra for some of the products. If you have VIP some products are "discounted" to a regular price in other stores. Another thing, with the Mrs. Meyer's, they carry some scents in the soaps and multi-purpose spray, then if you want to buy the bigger sizes, they don't have the scent you want.
So, is it worth the hype? Yes, if you enjoy cleaning, and yes if you don't. If you don't enjoy cleaning Grove has a way of making it fun, and the wonderful smelling products will motivate you to clean every room just so you can smell it. If you enjoy cleaning and feel like it is sort of a hobby, you deserve to have luxury for your hobby! Not everybody can afford Grove, though, and the only way I could keep Grove is if I got the VIP. You pay twenty dollars for the whole year to get unlimited free shipping, and full size free gifts. You also get early access to new products. I have also heard they send you four free gifts a year, with the changes of the season. Whether or not this is VIP exclusive I have no idea, but with VIP they will be full sized! If you want to try Grove for yourself and help a girl out, use my link! https://www.grove.co/referrer/56698318/

The Box Arrives
I had been checking the tracker religiously on my package, so I got to it pretty fast after they delivered it! There was a "thank you, Shana!" on the outside of my box, and it felt so good they took the time to do that! Opening it up, the packaging is so nice, the brush quality is great, sponges are beautiful, and the Mrs. Meyer's mint smells so fresh and clean. I video-chatted my mom while opening it, and she can testify I was on cloud nine.
